VR&E Employment Standards -- negotiated
| Consequential to the filing of an Unfair
Labor Practice, the Veterans Benefits Administration VR&E Division and
the National Federation of Federal Employees, VA Council have negotiated
where appropriate, new National Performance Standards for Counseling
Psychologists and Rehabilitation Counselors. A conference call will
be established between affected NFFE Stations and the VR&E officers in
an effort to provide concerns rank and file members have raised for these
new standards and to interact in a partnering manner with NFFE VBA Field
Station managers.
"The new National Standards are quite a change for our members who are already working harder and doing more with less," stated NFFE VAC Council President Robert Redding. We are thankful that the VBA has engaged in a dialogue to better conditions of employment for all of our VBA members and to better the services we can deliver to our Nation's veterans, added Redding. |
