VA ISSUES

The VA Council and our membership can Help Restore Bargaining Rights for VA Health Care Professionals  It is time for Congress to do what is right for VA workers and the veterans for whom they provide care by passing HR 4089, which will eliminate the collective bargaining exceptions under Sec. 7422 of Title 38.

DUES STRUCTURE

The National Federation of Federal Employees VA Council of Consolidated Locals has received information regarding dues rate hikes for 2009.  The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers has voted to raise dues by 25%.   The National Office will send the exact per capita payment amount shortly.   Please contact the VAC with comments on this increase.
